Know Your Knee Replacement Options. Knee Replacement, Joint Replacement, Methodist McKinney Hospital

Considering Knee Replacement Surgery? Regardless of the source of your knee pain, we can help get you off the sidelines and back to an active life.

When you experience severe destruction of the knee joint, limited mobility and pain that is getting progressively worse, your doctor may recommend total knee replacement. The most common cause of knee replacement surgery in the United States is a condition called Osteoarthritis, a joint condition that  results from cartilage degeneration.

The doctor’s in the Methodist McKinney Hospital network are experts in their fields. No matter the issue, we can treat whatever orthopedic pain ails you. We are proud to offer patient-focused orthopedic care to children, teens, and adults in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Since Physical Therapy is a larger part of Knee Replacement Surgery, you can continue your treatment at one of our eight conveniently located Outpatient Patient Physical Therapy Centers

Another option to consider when determining which knee replacement option is best for you is MAKOplasty®. If you are a hip or knee replacement candidate, then you are also a candidate to have your joint replacement done robotically – a method that boasts numerous benefits over traditional methods:

  • Drastically Improved Outcomes

I had the best experience while I was in the hospital following back surgery. The nurses Lou & Diane went above and beyond to make me feel as comfortable as possible. My PT, Hannah, was as sweet as candy and made me feel like I was a friend, not a patient. Hands down some of the best service from a medical facility
